Comparison of Optimized High-Order Finite-Difference Schemes for Computational Aeroacoustics

This paper compares the performance of two optimized high-order finite-difference schemes with Runge-Kutta time integration. The theory suggests the superiority of the space- and time- optimization schemes in comparison to their classical counterparts. Numerical tests are reported for one-dimensional linear advection.
