<div>This paper describes the design of an end-effector system suited for a mars analogue mission. In the scope of a bachelors thesis, a cost-effective, lightweight and robust gripper system was developed. The system was successfully tested and verified. It will be used on a mobile robotic platform for educational and research purposes. <br></div>
