Introduction
• CARTO (Biosense Webster) uses the Interval Confidence Level
(ICL) as primary metric, with Average and Shortest Complex
Intervals (ACI, SCI) as complementary metrics for Complex
Fractionated Atrial Electrogram (CFAE) identification.

• NavX (St Jude Medical) uses CFE-Mean as primary metric and
CFE-StdDev as complementary metric for CFAE identification.

In this study, we investigated (1) the differences in commercial
CFAE algorithms and (2) thresholds for the complementary metrics
to characterise CFAE based on the agreement between those two
systems
