This card sorting activity for primary school children provides a set of cards in groups of three: a cause of the Great Fire of London; the problem that resulted, and the solution that people found.
Cards are shuffled and learners arrange them. It is designed to help learners build connections between causes, problems, and solutions. The activity accompanies the video 'How did they rebuild London?'
The activity was created by Kate Loveman and James Harrod for the Reimagining the Restoration project. It is part of a set of teaching resources on the Great Fire, first published on the Museum of London's website in 2023.
