To identify and summarise the findings of RCTs evaluating interventions that target the inflammatory response to cardiac surgery and measure both markers of inflammation and clinical outcomes. Secondary objective:. To evaluate whether interventions that target different drivers of inflammation during cardiac surgery influence the nature of the inflammatory response or clinical outcomes.
