Must the family be told? Genetic information and liability for non-disclosure to relatives

Although the subject of whether liability in negligence may arise for the nondisclose of genetic information to relatives has attracted a good deal of academic consideration, the issue has only recently come to the attention of the English Courts. In the case of ABC v St George’s Healthcare NHS Trust, we now have the first English appellate decision considering this topic.
