This excavation report comprises two text volumes, totalling 795 pages, and a third volume with 505 plates of illustrations. Further illustrations are also found in the text volumes. The report has essentially twenty-three chapters and an appendix. While much of the text is authored by the editor, other chapters are authored by several relevant specialists for the wide range of remains from this rich domestic site. It is difficult to synthesise and appraise all aspects of this extensive report and the wealth of diverse remains presented in every chapter. Rathmayr provides three excellent summaries at the end of volume 2, in Germany, English and Turkish.
