The article highlights the importance of the 2024 Report produced by the Health and Social Care Committee following an inquiry of assisted suicide/assisted dying. It notes the important role of the legislature, especially considering the work that is done in Parliaments across the United Kingdom at this moment but also for the judiciary if and when the opportunity arises again to review the human rights compatibility of assisted suicide/assisted dying.<p></p>
