Janita Bagshawe, Head of Royal Pavilion & Museums, and David Beevers, Keeper of the Royal Pavilion, have between them over 70 years' experience working for the museum service in Brighton and Hove. Sophie speaks to two members of the organisation's old guard as they muse upon the waves of change to have occurred during their tenure, revealing how fluctuating budgets, changes to organisational structure and job titles as well as the fresh demands of audiences have affected the role and relevance of the museum services in the 21st century.
