<p dir="ltr">This is a video recording of a performance by a student at Bridgeport High School in Portmore, Jamaica. The student had taken part in performing arts workshops led by Tribe Sankofa, as part of the AHRC funded project '<a href="https://le.ac.uk/anglophone-caribbean" target="_blank">Representing Gender-Based Violence: Literature, Performance and Activism in the Anglophone Caribbean</a>'. This performance piece was later awarded a Silver medal in the Class 5 Dub Poetry category at the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission's (JCDC) 2023 National Performing Arts Competition.</p>
