Heat-Stress Preparedness: Increasing the resilience and adaptation of UK cities to heat-stress.

This policy briefing paper was produced by the Surface Temperature team at the University of Leicester, with the support of the University of Leicester Institute for Policy. Acknowledgements are also given to the National Centre for Earth Observation (NCEO), UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and the UK Earth Observation Climate Information Service (EOCIS). Through innovation for an environmentally sustainable future, this briefing paper aims to inform policy, proposing key recommendations to utilise data from local heat-risk maps to improve resilience to heat under climate change.
