Cartel Leniency and Settlements: A Joint Perspective - Supplementary Calculations

This calculations file accompanies the research paper Cartel Leniency and Settlements: A Joint Perspective. It develops numerical examples to demonstrate the various action choices that firms can make with respect to collusion. In particular, it highlights the cases in which colluding firms would choose to apply for leniency if investigated by a competition authority, and cases in which they would instead take up the option to settle their case.

These supplementary calculations were produced in Wolfram Mathematica. This proprietary software is required to run the .nb file type.
