Nadjim Horri

I am currently a lecturer in aerospace control at the University of Leicester (UoL). Before joining UoL, I worked as an assistant professor at Coventry University, where my research was focused on the motion estimation and control for UAVs or eVTOL and authomous vehicles. I also led the MSc Aerospace engineering and taught avionics, flight dynamics, real time control and UAV systems. I delivered research for Innovate UK (Assured CAV Parking) and consultancies on UAV and flight incident investigation. My PhD was awarded by the University of Surrey with algorithms validations on UoSat-12 and UK-DMC satellites. I also worked as a research fellow at the Surrey Space Centre on satellite projects (EPSRC project AAReST, STFC project STRaND-2, EU project ASTRONET). I supervised 5 PhDs to a successful completion and am currently co-supervising 4 PhDs. This included collaborative PhDs with Onera/Paris Saclay University and collaborative Masters and 1 European PhD with Bologna University.
