Independent Effects of Collocation Strength and Contextual Predictability on Eye Movements in Reading

dataset
posted on 2022-03-02, 10:41 authored by Kevin PatersonKevin Paterson
This is a dataset and R scripts for an eye movement experiment investigating the conjoint effects of predictability and collocation strength on the processing of collocations during reading. The analyses were conducted separately for the collocation (e.g., black coffee, bitter coffee) and the noun in that phrase (e.., coffee). The analysis scripts are for GLMM analyses of the eye movement data using the lme4 package in R and for Bayes Factors analyses of the interaction effects using the BayesFactor package (version 0.9.12-2) by Rouder et al. (2012).
